We are looking for a professional with a solid background in electrical turnkey projects to support our tendering and estimation activities.

Job Position: Electrical Engineer (Tendering & Estimation)

Location: Corporate Office, Nashik, Maharashtra


  • B.E in Electrical Engineering (regular course) with an elective subject in Power Systems/Transmission & Distribution.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in a reputed EPC company involved in electrical turnkey projects.


Pre-tender Activities:

  • Gather information about active and upcoming tenders.
  • Study Pre-qualification (PQ) requirements and ascertain eligibility criteria.
  • Prepare tender synopsis.
  • Organize the purchase of tender documents.

Tendering Activities:

  • Study tender documents thoroughly to understand customer requirements.
  • Prepare and submit pre-bid queries, follow up for replies/clarifications.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings with customers (if required).
  • Conduct site surveys and collect necessary inputs from the site.
  • Prepare and send inquiries to sub-vendors, collect backup offers.
  • Review backup offers and supplier documents for adequacy.
  • Prepare/organize pre-tender Bill of Quantities (BoQ), drawings, and other relevant documents.
  • Identify documentation requirements stipulated in the bid documents.
  • Collect and compile a complete set of documents required for bid submission.
  • Prepare the bid with all supporting documents.
  • Follow up with customers and track the status of bids.

Estimation & Costing:

  • Review backup offers from sub-vendors, assess rates, and negotiate for optimum pricing.
  • Prepare a detailed costing sheet for the complete scope of work.
  • Assess site establishment requirements and prepare costing for overheads and other cost elements.
  • Present costing for management review.
