Job Description – HR Manager
Role Overview: The HR Manager is responsible for developing and implementing people strategies that support the company’s goals, including recruitment, talent development, employee engagement, statutory compliance, performance management, and organizational culture building. The role ensures that human capital is aligned with the vision of building a ₹500 Cr+ company.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition & Manpower Planning

  • Understand manpower needs across projects, purchase, billing, engineering, and site teams.
  • Drive recruitment of technical, admin, and project staff (Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, etc.).
  • Build a talent pool for future project expansions and new tenders.

2. Onboarding & Induction

  • Design and execute effective onboarding programs for new employees.
  • Ensure induction covers company vision, Mission AdiShakti, core values, safety, compliance, and job expectations.

3. Performance Management & KPIs

  • Define and implement role-based KRAs/KPIs (linked to execution, procurement, billing, and HR).
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews with HoDs and project leaders.
  • Create and monitor Incentive & Recognition Systems to reward high performance.

4. Learning & Leadership Development

  • Identify training needs for site teams, engineers, purchase staff, and future leaders.
  • Coordinate with external trainers or institutions (e.g., SIL or Landmark) for growth and mindset coaching.
  • Develop leadership pathways for grooming future project leaders.

5. HR Operations & Employee Engagement

  • Handle attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and internal HR systems.
  • Build a strong culture of respect, discipline, collaboration, and goal alignment.
  • Organize employee engagement events, wellness programs, and team-building activities.

6. Statutory Compliance & Legal HR

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws: PF, ESIC, Bonus Act, Gratuity, Contract Labour, etc.
  • Manage contractor HR compliance and documentation.
  • Liaison with labor consultants and auditors during inspections.

7. HR Reporting & Strategy Alignment

  • Present monthly HR dashboards: manpower status, attrition, hiring, performance.
  • Work with leadership team on organization structure, promotions, and succession planning.
  • Support SIL consulting team in driving Mission AdiShakti People Development Goals.

  • Collaborates with: Project Manager, Finance Head, Procurement Head, Tendering Head
