Tata Steel Limited invites applications for One-Year Apprenticeship Training at its Kalinganagar Plant, Odisha. This program offers young and dynamic diploma/ITI pass-out candidates an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and industry exposure in one of India’s leading steel manufacturing companies.
The training will be conducted under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and its latest amendments, and successful trainees will be awarded a One-Year Apprenticeship Completion Certificate from Tata Steel. Please note that this is a training program only and does not guarantee employment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy Engineering
- ITI in Fitter Mechanical / Electrician
- Qualification Status: Only pass-out candidates can apply (Passing year 2021 or later)
- Age: Candidates must be born between 01 Oct 2000 and 01 Oct 2007 (both dates inclusive)
- Domicile: Must be a resident of Odisha
- Institute Type: Govt. or Private ITI/Diploma Institutes
Important Requirements
- Candidates who have already done or are currently doing Apprenticeship from other organisations will not be considered.
- Aadhaar-seeded bank account is mandatory.
- PAN Card (linked with Aadhaar) is required for stipend processing.
- Trainees must arrange their own accommodation during training (hostel facility not provided).
Training Details
- Duration: 1 Year (On-the-Job Plant Training)
- Location: Tata Steel Kalinganagar (TSK), Odisha
- Stipend: As per Apprenticeship Act, 1961
- Certification: Apprenticeship Completion Certificate on successful completion

- Document Scrutiny
- Medical Test
