Project Scope
We are seeking a Senior Executive (Contracts & Claims) specializing in contract administration and claims management for complex infrastructure projects. The role requires strong expertise in FIDIC-based and bespoke contracts, demonstrable claims preparation capability, and high-quality contractual drafting skills.
The candidate will play a key role in safeguarding entitlements, preparing defensible submissions, and supporting dispute resolution at the head-office level.
Roles & Responsibilities
Claims Management
- Prepare and substantiate claims for EOT, prolongation, disruption, and cost impacts
- Contribute delay analysis inputs and coordinate with planning teams
- Compile claim quantum with supporting documentation and contractual justification
FIDIC Contract Administration
- Draft and issue notices, correspondence, and submissions in compliance with FIDIC/SCC/GCC
- Interpret contractual provisions and advise project teams on entitlement preservation
- Manage variations, equitable adjustments, and risk allocation
Drafting & Correspondence
- Prepare contractual letters, rebuttals, and employer-level narratives
- Develop concise internal briefs on contractual positions
- Ensure submissions are procedurally sound and without prejudice to unresolved entitlements
Dispute Resolution Support
- Assist in documentation for negotiations, adjudications, or arbitrations
- Coordinate with legal advisors and senior management on dispute strategy
Other Requirements
- Proven track record in preparing full-fledged claims (quantum, delay analysis, prolongation/disruption/costs)
- Hands-on experience with FIDIC contracts and bespoke/non-standard agreements
- Strong contractual drafting and rebuttal preparation skills
- Analytical capability to summarize contractual risks and positions
