Job Summary
The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring all Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) activities for a High-Rise Building project executed under Military Engineer Services (MES). The role requires experience in government construction projects, quality inspections, documentation, testing, and compliance with applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the Project Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan.
- Conduct inspections of civil, structural, and finishing works as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with MES, CPWD, BIS Standards, IS Codes, and project quality requirements.
- Prepare and maintain Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), quality reports, checklists, and test records.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site engineers during inspections.
- Monitor material testing through approved laboratories and maintain testing records.
- Identify Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Review method statements, material submittals, and QA/QC documentation.
- Maintain calibration records of testing equipment.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Prepare complete QA/QC documentation for project handover.
