Planning & Billing Engineer
- Department: EQA (Planning & Billing)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Preferred Qualification: Master’s Degree or MBA
- Experience: 8–10 Years
- Project Experience: International Power Projects
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Master’s Degree or MBA will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
Candidates should have:
- 8–10 years of experience in Power Projects.
- Hands-on experience in International Power Projects.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Project Planning & Scheduling
- Billing & Cost Control
- MS Project
- FIDIC Contracts
- International EPC Contracting Practices
- Commercial & Contract Management
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project.
- Prepare Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), project baselines, and milestone plans.
- Develop resource-loaded schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Monitor critical path activities and perform schedule risk analysis.
- Prepare project review presentations and planning reports.
Progress Monitoring
- Track engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning progress.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Generate S-Curves, dashboards, productivity reports, and earned value analysis.
- Identify project delays and recommend corrective actions.
Billing & Commercial Management
- Prepare client invoices as per contractual milestones.
- Verify subcontractor measurements and payment certifications.
- Coordinate with finance for invoicing and collections.
- Ensure timely submission of Running Account (RA) Bills.
- Validate executed quantities before billing.
Contract Administration Support
- Review EPC contracts, subcontracts, and client requirements.
- Ensure billing complies with contractual terms.
- Support variation orders, change orders, and claims management.
- Maintain commercial documentation and support Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
