SHC Projects Private Limited is hiring a Junior Formwork Engineer to join its Formwork/Engineering team in the construction industry. The role is suited to Civil Engineering professionals with experience in formwork detailing, RCC construction, structural drawings, quantity analysis and site coordination.

1. Junior Formwork Engineer
- Experience: 2–5 Years
- Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Preferred Qualification: M.Tech in Structural Engineering
- Industry: Construction / Formwork Contracting
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare formwork scheme drawings and layouts for RCC elements.
- Develop plans, elevations, sections and detailed formwork drawings.
- Prepare fabrication and assembly drawings for MS plates, channels, angles, pipes, plywood, stiffeners, brackets and related components.
- Carry out formwork quantity analysis, material take-offs and requirement schedules.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Site Execution, Planning and Stores teams.
- Incorporate consultant, client and site comments and issue revised drawings.
- Provide technical support and drawing clarifications to site teams.
- Assist in monitoring formwork material movement, allocation and utilization.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision control and formwork inventory records.
Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Ability to read structural, architectural and RCC drawings.
- Understanding of construction methods, dimensions, levels and sections.
- Basic knowledge of different formwork systems and their site applications.
- Experience in quantity take-offs, material schedules and inventory tracking.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong drafting, detailing, coordination and visualization skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
