Aditya Birla Group is looking for talented professionals to join our team for the following position:
Position: Ceramic Engineer | Engineer / Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager
- Function: R&D | Process Control | Ceramic Process Engineering
- Preferred Industry Experience: White Ware – Ceramics / Tiles / Sanitary Ware / Insulators / Porcelain / Glass / Refractory / Cement
- Job Location: Halol, Vadodara
- Work Experience: 4 to 6 Years
- Education: B.E/Diploma in Ceramic
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Control ceramic processes in insulator manufacturing.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards for zero accidents.
- Monitor critical process parameters and follow SOPs to meet plant requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and timely availability of process data for decision-making.
- Train PC operators on data capture.
- Prepare control charts across the process for visual effectiveness.
- Plan manpower availability and ensure timely work completion in each shift.
- Prepare periodic reports, collect deviations, and handle data entry.
- Follow up on plant trials, prepare results, and report findings.
- Prepare monthly maintenance and cleaning schedules for batching, ratio tanks, filter press, PMS of pug mills, and other machines.
- Track new product/process developments and capture observations and rejections at the shop floor.
- Collect samples, observe shop floor activities, and coordinate processes.
- Understand customer requirements and ensure adherence to customer drawing parameters.
