Job Details:
- Position: Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer
- Department: Planning & Monitoring
- Grade: M3 / M2
- Location: Nagpur Metro Rail Project
- Reports To: Lead – Project Control
Roles & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and update project schedules for our Elevated Metro Projects. The role involves close coordination with construction, design, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure timely delivery within defined cost and quality parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Develop baseline schedules and track progress against approved plans.
- Identify critical paths, potential delays, and risks; propose and implement recovery plans.
- Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and variance analyses.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and execution teams for progress and resource planning.
- Support project management in forecasting timelines, cost implications, and time extension evaluations.
- Review and monitor subcontractor schedules against master schedules.
- Ensure compliance with project planning procedures, client reporting formats, and contractual timelines.
- Participate in review meetings and provide schedule updates and look-ahead plans.
Experience & Qualification:
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Construction Management preferred)
- Experience: 4–8 years in planning & scheduling of elevated Metro / Rail / Infrastructure projects
- Software Skills: Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project sequencing, and contract management
