Job Details:
- Position: Highway Design Engineer
- Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra
- Experience: Minimum 4+ years in a design consulting environment
- Qualification: B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering OR M.Tech in Civil/Transportation (Preferred)
Required Software Skills:
- Civil 3D
- MX Road
- OpenRoads Designer
- AutoCAD
- MS Office
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed geometric and 3D modeling for highway and road designs using modern design software.
- Design alignments, junctions, interchanges, and drainage systems per IRC and NH standards.
- Interpret topographical surveys and integrate site conditions into design workflows.
- Prepare detailed project reports (DPRs) including traffic signs, road markings, and drainage layouts.
- Handle end-to-end design, from concept to final delivery including quantity take-offs and CAD drawings.
- Ensure adherence to national and international codes and specifications.
- Create and finalize design reports and drawings at various project stages.
- Understand construction methodology for highway execution.
- Willingness to relocate anywhere in India if required.
