Job Details:
- Position: Deputy General Manager / General Manager – QA/QC
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech (Civil)
- Experience: 20+ years in QA/QC function (Highway / Expressway)
- Job Location: Head Office – Ahmedabad
Job Description:
- Develop and implement corporate-level QA/QC policies, procedures, and systems aligned with national and international standards (IRC, MORTH, ISO, etc.).
- Oversee QA/QC functions across all ongoing highway and expressway projects to ensure standardization and uniform quality practices.
- Review and approve Quality Manuals, Method Statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for all projects.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and independent engineers for quality audits, inspections, and approvals.
- Monitor site-level QA/QC performance, laboratory setups, and testing facilities.
- Conduct periodic technical audits and quality inspections at project sites.
- Review and analyze non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure availability, calibration, and maintenance of all testing equipment at site laboratories.
- Review mix designs, trial mixes, and test results for concrete, bitumen, soil, and aggregates.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA/QC Engineers across multiple sites.
- Coordinate between project sites, consultants, and clients for quality-related issues.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of QA/QC reports to management and clients.
- Maintain proper documentation as per ISO 9001 and project-specific requirements.
- Must have handled multiple projects from Corporate or Regional Office level.
- Strong knowledge of MORTH, IRC Codes, BIS Standards, ISO 9001:2015, and other relevant specifications.
