Job Details:
- Position: Project Engineer
- Experience: 4–6 Years
- Function/Area: Interior Fit-out
- Location: Ahmedabad
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of civil and interior works including finishes, furniture, fixtures, MEP, and equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project / Primavera, and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of construction safety norms, quality control, and site management.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review interior project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to understand scope, design intent, and execution requirements.
- Plan and monitor site activities to ensure timely completion within quality and safety standards.
- Supervise and coordinate civil, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and finishing works as per approved designs.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site teams for workflow efficiency and resource optimization.
- Conduct quality checks for materials, finishes, and workmanship at all execution stages.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with statutory standards.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and clients for design clarifications and issue resolution.
- Track material procurement, delivery schedules, and inventory to prevent delays.
- Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and documentation for billing and certification.
- Oversee snag list closure, commissioning, and final handover of projects.
