Job Details:
- Position: Technical Manager – Building Projects (UAE)
- Education: B.E. / B.Sc. in Engineering (Civil / Architectural)
Experience:
- 15+ years in construction
- Strong background in technical office roles within contracting companies
- GCC / UAE experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage technical office operations for large-scale building projects
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of shop drawings and detailed designs
- Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors for seamless integration
- Review and validate design documents in line with project specs and standards
- Implement and manage BIM workflows and design software tools
- Resolve design-related issues during execution with proactive technical guidance
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and internal teams for approvals and clarifications
Technical & Leadership Skills
- Proficiency in design software and BIM tools
- Strong detailing and shop drawing expertise
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate multiple disciplines and subcontractors
