Job Details:
- Position: Civil Engineer (Contract Management)
- Location: Nashik, Maharashtra
Required Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- NICMAR specialization preferred
- Experience: 3–5 years
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Post-award Contract Management and Administration
- Interpret and communicate contractual conditions to project teams
- Prepare Contract Appreciation Documents (CAD) and highlight key clauses
- Track and manage daily project correspondences and contractual communication
- Draft and issue letters aligned with contract terms
- Maintain comprehensive records of communications and contract-related data
- Identify scope changes or variations and manage accordingly
- Prepare and submit claims (EOT, cost claims for manpower/machinery, loss of opportunity, overheads, etc.)
- Engage in discussions on claims, disputes, and progress issues
- Handle contractual communication with clients and subcontractors
- Draft submissions for arbitrations, conciliations, and legal proceedings
- Prepare Monthly Progress Reports and monitor subcontractor performance
- Identify and document disputes and delays, and maintain event calendars
- Record facts for potential claims and disputes
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Analytical ability to interpret and act on contract conditions
