J Kumar Infraprojects JV Bags ₹1,134 Crore JNPT Highway Interchange Project | Major Win in Port Connectivity Infrastructure
J Kumar Infraprojects Ltd, one of India’s leading civil construction and infrastructure companies, has announced that its joint venture with JM Mhatre Infra Pvt. Ltd. has secured two major infrastructure orders worth ₹1,133.70 crore from the JNPT Port Road Company Ltd.
With this win, the company strengthens its position in port connectivity, highway upgradation, and national logistics corridor development.
As per the official statement, J Kumar Infraprojects holds a 65% share, amounting to ₹736.91 crore in the overall JV contract value.

Karalphata Interchange Construction – Package I
- Project Value: ₹539 crore
- Scope:
- Construction of Karalphata interchange
- Stretch from Km 3.6 to Km 6.073 of NH-4B
- Stretch from Km 5.3 to Km 7.42 of NH-348
- Connectivity extension to the Fourth Terminal of JNPT
- Purpose: Enhance port approach roads and streamline freight movement to JNPT.
Gavanphata Interchange – Package II
- Project Value: ₹594.70 crore
- Scope:
- Construction of Gavanphata interchange
- Associated works on NH-4B under JNPT Phase-II
- Executed on RPC basis (Rate Percentage Contract)
- Objective: Improve multi-modal transport access and reduce vehicle congestion around the port region.
