Tractebel is hiring an experienced Civil & Structural Design Engineer – Renewable Energy for its Gurugram, Haryana team. The role offers an opportunity to work on solar, wind and battery storage projects across India and international markets.

1. Sr. Civil & Structural Design Engineer – Renewable Energy
- Experience: 5–15 years
- Location: Gurugram, Sector 62
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Structural or Geotechnical Engineering
- Industry: Renewable Energy / Engineering Consultancy
Key Responsibilities
- Design civil and structural systems for solar and wind power plants
- Work on module mounting structures, pile foundations and transformer stations
- Deliver pre-bid engineering, detailed engineering and owner’s engineering services
- Review design documents for owner’s and lender’s engineering assignments
- Independently lead civil and structural scope on smaller projects
- Apply Indian Standards including IS 456, IS 800, IS 875, IS 801 and IS 2911
- Work with Eurocodes for code-compliant designs
- Support site supervision, construction monitoring and structural inspections
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, preferably engineering consulting
- Strong knowledge of solar plant design, foundation systems and mounting structures
- Wind power project experience is an advantage
- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro or equivalent structural analysis software
- Experience with pile design software
- Knowledge of Eurocodes and international standards
- Civil 3D experience for terrain modelling, drainage or road design is a plus
- Strong written and spoken English skills
- Ability to prepare clear technical reports
