Designation: Officer / Jr. Engineer / Engineer / Assistant Manager – Material Purchase (Infra – Road/Rail Projects)

Qualification
- Engineering Graduate (Civil / Mechanical)
- Diploma (Civil / Mechanical)
- B.Com with SAP Knowledge
- SAP knowledge is mandatory
Experience
- 1–2 Years / Freshers may apply
- Preference for candidates with infra (Road/Rail) project exposure
To identify, develop, and finalize vendors for high-quality procurement requirements related to infrastructure projects from mobilization till project completion.
Procurement items include:
- Civil / Electrical / Mechanical fittings
- IT peripherals
- Prefabricated structures
- Steel, Pipes
- Sand, Aggregate, Cement
- Admixtures, Paints
- Expansion Joints, Bearings
- Bitumen and HSD (Added advantage)
Key Responsibilities
- Timely procurement of required materials in correct quantity and quality
- Vendor identification and development
- Negotiation and price finalization
- Cost analysis and tentative price derivation
- Coordination with project stakeholders
- Market price monitoring and forecasting
- Supporting tendering team with market inputs
- Lead time tracking and vendor performance monitoring
- E-sourcing and vendor participation in bidding
- Ensuring favourable terms & conditions with suppliers
Candidate Requirement
- Proven field experience preferred
- Experience in purchase function in reputed infra company preferred
- Knowledge of relevant IS Codes and European norms
- Familiarity with sourcing, e-sourcing & vendor management
- Strong negotiation and networking skills
- Knowledge of SAP
- Good command over MS Excel
- Logical thinking and decision-making ability
- Team player with leadership potential
- Willingness to travel
