Position: Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Contracts
- Project: Dibang Hydro Project
- Location: Arunachal Pradesh
- Experience Required: 5 to 8 years
- Qualification: BE / B.Tech – Civil Engineering
Job Role & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will manage contractual, commercial, and claims-related activities for hydro-tunnel and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Administration
- Review, interpret, and administer contract terms for hydro-tunnel projects
- Draft, review, and finalize subcontracts, work orders, and vendor agreements
- Ensure compliance with FIDIC / MoRTH / IRC conditions and statutory requirements
Commercial Management
- Monitor project costs, variations, and change orders
- Prepare and evaluate claims, EOT (Extension of Time), and additional cost submissions
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and correspondence records
Risk & Claims Management
- Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation measures
- Prepare and defend claims, counterclaims, and dispute cases
- Coordinate with legal teams for arbitration, litigation, and settlements
Reporting
- Prepare periodic reports on contract performance, claims status, and risks
- Provide regular updates to project leadership on contractual and cost matters
