1. Mechanical Design Engineer – Distribution Transformers
- Experience: 2–8 Years
- Location: Vadodara, Gujarat
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Industry: Distribution Oil-Filled Transformer Manufacturing
Key Requirements:
- Mechanical design experience in distribution oil-filled transformers
- Knowledge of CAD and 3D modelling software
- Creo knowledge is an advantage
- Understanding of transformer mechanical design and calculations
- Knowledge of dielectrics, clearance/creepage, basic layout and cleats lead arrangement
- Knowledge of IS/IEC/IEEE and Canadian Standards
- Winding design and Tank & Externals experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good spoken and written English
Key Responsibilities:
- Design active parts, windings, tanks and external components
- Prepare customer documents and manufacturing drawings
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Coordinate design activities with global factories
- Participate in internal design reviews

2. Mechanical Design Engineer – Power Transformers
- Experience: 2–5 Years
- Location: Vadodara, Gujarat
- Qualification: Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
- Industry: Distribution / Power Transformer Manufacturing
Key Requirements:
- Mechanical design experience in distribution or power transformers
- Knowledge of IS/IEC/IEEE Standards
- Understanding of clearance/creepage and basic transformer layout
- Knowledge of cleats lead arrangement
- Winding design experience is an advantage
- CAD and 3D modelling knowledge
- Creo experience is preferred
- Good English communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare customer documents, manufacturing drawings and BOM
- Develop transformer designs according to purchase-order requirements
- Work with global Hitachi Energy factories
- Participate in design concept reviews

3. Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Power Transformer
- Experience: 9–12 Years
- Location: Vadodara, Gujarat
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Industry: Power Transformer Manufacturing
Key Requirements:
- 9–12 years of mechanical design experience in power transformer manufacturing
- CAD and 3D modelling knowledge
- Creo knowledge is an advantage
- Understanding of transformer mechanical calculations
- Knowledge of thermal, dielectric, short-circuit and sound performance
- Knowledge of IS/IEC/IEEE and Canadian Standards

Key Requirements:
- 5–12 years of experience in electrical or mechanical design for power transformers
- Experience in oil-type power transformer design
- Knowledge of transformer electrical design
- Understanding of thermal, dielectric and short-circuit performance
- Knowledge of IS/IEC/IEEE and Canadian Standards
- Simulation or software development experience is an advantage
- Strong English communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Design oil-type power transformers up to 60 MVA, 161 kV class
- Support tender and pre-tender conceptual discussions
- Prepare electrical design according to factory requirements
- Prepare customer and manufacturing documents
- Prepare Bill of Materials
- Coordinate design activities with global factories
- Participate in internal design reviews
5. Team Lead – Mechanical Design, Power Transformer
- Experience: 10–12 Years
- Location: Vadodara, Gujarat
- Qualification: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
- Industry: Power Transformer Engineering
Key Requirements:
- Around 10 years of experience in transformer design
- Strong experience in power transformer design
- Experience in tender engineering and order engineering
- Experience with North American, European and Asian markets
- Knowledge of IEC and IEEE Standards
- Experience supporting standardization across multiple factories
- Strong project engineering management experience
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead standardization of transformer mechanical components
- Develop and maintain base designs, design rules, checklists and templates
- Review mechanical drawings, layouts, designs and BOM structures
- Ensure compliance with IEEE/IEC standards
- Coordinate with factory engineering, manufacturing and quality teams
- Support design transfer and implementation
- Drive cost, quality and cycle-time improvements

6. R&D Engineer – Mechanical
- Experience: 5–10 Years

- Qualification: B.Tech./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering
- Industry: High Voltage Products / Engineering R&D
Key Requirements:
- 5–10+ years of experience in high-voltage switchgear design and development
- Product knowledge of HV Instrument Transformers
- Experience with Creo, Windchill and Ansys
- Manufacturing industry experience
- FEA and electrical simulation tool experience
- Strong knowledge of drawings, BOM, GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Product change management experience
- Knowledge of high-voltage switchgear design and development
- Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, ANSI, IS, ISO, DIN, IP and NEMA standards
- Root-cause analysis experience
- Project or management experience
- Strong problem-solving and innovative thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Work on R&D engineering for high-voltage Instrument Transformer products
- Design CTs and CVTs for high-voltage applications
- Perform and review mechanical calculations and simulations
- Support mechanical testing
- Conduct root-cause analysis for product failures
- Work on product harmonization, upgrades and maintenance
- Conduct DFMEA/DFM/DFA design reviews
- Support prototyping and testing
- Prepare development and analysis reports
- Prepare assembly and test instructions and specifications
