Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) is a powerful industrial behemoth with a substantial footprint in the infrastructure, mining, steel, and power sectors. With a revenue of over $7.6 billion USD, JSP has revolutionised the steelmaking process in India.
At its Angul factory in Odisha, JSP has successfully constructed India’s Most Modern 6 MTPA Integrated Steel factory, which includes the country’s largest 4.25 MTPA Blast Furnace. JSP’s commitment to quality and innovation is demonstrated by the facility, which has an 810 MW captive power plant, 1.5 MTPA bar mill, and 1.2 MTPA plate mill.
The Angul Integrated Steel Plant, which employs Swadeshi raw materials, has the largest Coal Gasification Plant (CGP) for Steelmaking via the DRI process. The facility also has a blast furnace, a coal washery, a sinter plant, a pellet plant, a coke-oven and byproduct plant, a coal gasification plant, a DRI plant, a steel melting shop, a slab caster, a plate mill, a hot strip mill, an oxygen plant, a lime and dolomite plant and a pellet plant in addition to the power plant.
Career Opportunities – Steel Melt Shop (SMS)
Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. is beginning construction on a new 7 MTPA steel melting facility at Angul. A 250T HMDS Casting Facility, a 2×250 Tonne BOF Shop, a 2×250 Tonne Ladle Furnace, a 2×250 Tonne RH Degasser, and a 2×300 Tonne Twin Slab Caster are just a few of the features that the SMS will include.

- Experience: 5-11 years
3. Electrical (Slab Caster) – Area Incharge (Manager – AGM)
