Eligibility Guidelines
Candidates aspiring to join as Diploma Engineer Trainees must meet the following criteria:
1. Academics
- Diploma Completion: Must have completed a 3-year/6-semester full-time diploma course after SSC or equivalent/HSC.
- Minimum Aggregate: Achieve a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
- Ineligibility:
- Graduates in Engineering/Science/Arts (before or after the diploma) are not eligible.
- Sandwich courses are not accepted.
- Final-Year Students: Those expecting diploma completion by 30th June 2025 may apply.
2. Mode of Study
- Only full-time diploma students are eligible.
- Part-time or correspondence course students are not eligible.
3. Backlogs/Arrears
- No past or live backlogs during the diploma course.
- All subjects/papers must be cleared in the first attempt.
4. Age
- Birth Range: Candidates born between 1st July 2003 and 30th June 2007, inclusive of both dates.
5. Nationality
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
- Foreign Nationals are not eligible.
6. Medical Fitness
- Selection is subject to clearance of medical fitness as per the guidelines of the Chief Medical Officer.
