Business Operations:
The Group is actively involved in the manufacturing of integrated Iron & Steel Products (5 MTPA), Cement (1 MTPA), Power (300 MW), and more recently, Mining. It proudly holds the status of being the largest debt-free steel conglomerate in Eastern India. As of March 2023, the Group has invested INR 15,000 Crores in its manufacturing facilities in West Bengal, all from its own funds, generating a turnover of INR 30,000 Crores. Rashmi Group boasts an employee strength of 30,000.

Current Open Positions:

1. Project Head – Coal Mining

• Qualification: First Class Mines Manager
• Experience: Minimum 20 years in Greenfield Projects, exposure in Underground/Open Cast Mines preferred.
• Location: West Bengal

2. Land Acquisition – Mining

• Qualification: LLB + Graduate
• Experience: 25 years, preference for retired personnel from Land Revenue Department of WB, in-depth exposure to land acquisition for Mining Project.
• Location: West Bengal

3. HR (GM/VP) – Mining

• Qualification: MBA HR
• Experience: Minimum 15 years in welfare management, statutory management, desired exposure to the Mining Industry.
• Location: West Bengal

4. Corporate Affairs – Mining (GM/AVP)

• Qualification: Preferably Post-Graduation in Public Administration & Mass Communication
• Experience: 15 years, specialist in corporate affairs, public policy, government relations, external and internal communication, compliance, sustainability, land acquisition, media relations.
• Location: West Bengal

5. Liaison Officer – Mining

• Qualification: Preferably a postgraduate in social welfare
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in community liaisoning with stakeholders, particularly in the Mining sector.
• Location: West Bengal

6. Accounts (AGM/GM)

• Qualification: Qualified CA
• Experience: Minimum 15 years from the Iron & Steel Industry, exposure to the latest accounting amendments, SAP, and monitoring of MIS.
• Location: Kolkata

7. Banking (AGM/GM)

• Qualification: Qualified CA
• Experience: Minimum 15 years from the Iron & Steel Industry, exposure to trade operations, LC/BG/Remittance, export operation, liaison with various banking partners.
• Location: Kolkata

8. Quality Head

• Qualification: MSc. in Quality Management
• Experience: 20 years, responsible for monitoring quality norms and maintaining product standards, particularly in Iron Ore.
• Location: Barbil (Odisha)
