Job Overview

RRA Project Management is looking for a Planning Engineer – Civil with strong project planning and scheduling skills, hands-on knowledge of MS Project (MSP) and a good understanding of construction activities and site sequencing.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop and regularly update project schedules using MS Project (MSP)
• Prepare and maintain Gantt Charts, baseline schedules and progress schedules
• Plan construction sequencing, including Civil works followed by MEP, finishing, architectural and other activities
• Apply basic planning techniques such as Critical Path Method (CPM)
• Identify critical activities and monitor project schedules
• Track planned vs. actual project progress
• Highlight delays and schedule deviations
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
• Track project milestones
• Assist in identifying schedule risks
• Support the development of recovery plans for delayed activities

Required Skills & Experience

• B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering is mandatory
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction/project planning
• Strong working knowledge of MS Project (MSP)
• Good understanding of construction methodology and activity sequencing
• Knowledge of CPM, Gantt Charts, project monitoring and progress tracking
• Good interpersonal and coordination skills
• Strong written communication skills in English
• Experience in Residential, Commercial and Institutional Projects is preferred
• PMC / Project Management Consultancy experience is preferred
