RVNL Wins ₹272 Crore Contract from Central Railway for Daund–Solapur Traction System Upgrade
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has secured a prestigious ₹272.08 crore contract from Central Railway to strengthen the traction system between Daund and Solapur. The project aims to boost freight efficiency and meet a 3,000 MT loading target, marking a major step toward enhancing the region’s railway infrastructure.

- Implementation of a 2×25 KV traction system with Scott-connected transformers.
