Shapoorji Pallonji Engineering & Construction has vacancies in its Corporate Office in Mumbai as of October 2023. They are looking for candidates to fill the following positions in the Procurement department:

1. AGM/DGM- Procurement & Subcontracts (1 No.) – Reporting to Head- Procurement
2. Manager Procurement (Finishing Items) (1 No.) – Reporting to AGM/DGM- Procurement

Desired Qualification & Experience

For AGM/DGM- Procurement & Subcontracts

• B.E. or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 18-20 years of experience in Procurement & Subcontracts for Bought-out Items/Services, MEP Services, Façade, High-end Finishing Items, etc.
• Exposure to ERP/SAP is a must
• Knowledge of FIDIC conditions of contract is an added advantage

For Manager Procurement (Finishing Items)

• B.E. in Civil Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in procurement of finishing items for building construction projects
• Exposure to ERP/SAP is a must

Job Responsibilities:

AGM/DGM- Procurement & Subcontracts:

• Vendor Sourcing – Pre-Qualification and Evaluation process
• Management of pan-India procurement activities for various disciplines
• Negotiating and implementing Rate Contracts for various items of work
• Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contract agreements with suppliers, consulting agencies, sub-contractors, etc.
• Contractual correspondence with suppliers and subcontractors
• Preparation of various MIS, reports, and other procurement documents

Manager Procurement (Finishing Items):

• Procurement of Paints, Putty, Granite, Fire Doors, Tiles, Kota, Furniture, Interior items, etc.
• Responsible for evaluation & selection of Vendors, Rates negotiation
• Issuing RFQ/Tenders, Techno-commercial evaluation, negotiations
• Preparation of documents for management’s approval
• Preparation of various MIS Reports
• Ensuring minimum lead time for delivery of materials at the site
• Coordinating with project teams, designers, and all stakeholders
• Tracking commodity prices
