Position Details
Position: Formwork Engineer / Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager
- Experience: 4–10 Years
- Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Location: Gurugram, Delhi, Gujarat & Andhra Pradesh
- Mandatory Experience: High-Rise Residential Formwork Expertise
Key Job Responsibilities
Innovation & Strategy
- Lead the research, development, and implementation of new formwork systems for residential buildings.
- Focus on cost-effectiveness, construction speed, and quality.
- Identify innovative solutions to improve formwork operations.
Project Management
- Oversee formwork design, planning, and execution across residential construction projects.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
- Drive implementation of strategic initiatives related to formwork design, engineering, and execution.
Team Leadership
- Manage and lead engineers and technicians.
- Promote technical excellence, innovation, and efficiency in formwork systems.
Process Optimization
- Develop and implement SOPs for:
- Formwork storage
- Inventory management
- Material movement
- Formwork reuse
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Identify and evaluate suppliers.
- Coordinate procurement of cost-effective and high-quality formwork materials.
- Ensure materials meet project requirements and budgets.
Continuous Improvement
- Introduce new materials, technologies, and methodologies.
- Improve overall formwork efficiency and productivity.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure formwork systems comply with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Construction Technology
- Identify, assess, and implement construction technologies that improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity in formwork operations.
Role Purpose
The selected professional will lead the development and implementation of formwork systems specifically for residential buildings at VCL.
The role focuses on developing cost-effective and efficient formwork solutions, optimizing residential construction processes, maintaining high-quality standards, reducing construction time, and supporting the company’s growth objectives.
