The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting safety inspections and audits, identifying workplace hazards, implementing safety control measures, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting safety training and maintaining statutory safety documentation.

Safety Officer
- Experience: 6 to 9 years of experience in safety at factory, industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of safety compliance, applicable codes and legal requirements.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership: Ability to influence, guide and drive teams towards maintaining safety standards.
- Reporting: Proficiency in safety reporting, documentation and record maintenance.
- Preferred Experience: Experience in Precast or Manufacturing factories is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits at the factory level.
- Identify workplace hazards, assess risks and implement appropriate control measures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, codes and standards, including the Factories Act, OSHA and ISO 45001.
- Develop and implement safe work procedures, SOPs and Permit to Work systems.
- Conduct safety training programs, toolbox talks and workplace safety awareness programs.
- Investigate incidents and near misses and ensure implementation of corrective actions.
- Monitor the proper use of PPE and ensure good housekeeping and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain and update statutory registers, safety documents and reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies regarding safety compliance.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the organization.
