Senior Civil Engineer

The selected candidate will report to the Manager, Civil & Automation.
Key Responsibilities
Terrain & Grading Design
- Perform desktop assessments for land grading, levelling and terracing.
- Develop cost-effective grading strategies suited to solar tracker slope tolerances.
Civil 3D Modelling
- Build existing and proposed ground surfaces, alignments and corridors using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Align tracker rows with optimal tilt constraints.
Earthwork Optimization
- Analyze and calculate accurate cut-and-fill volumes.
- Minimize soil disturbance and balance earthwork to help control construction costs.
Drainage & Stormwater Planning
- Design site-specific stormwater management systems.
- Develop erosion control measures.
- Plan access road networks running parallel or perpendicular to tracker arrays.
Tracker Layout Integration
- Coordinate with electrical and structural teams.
- Verify pile and foundation placement.
- Ensure tracker rotational clearance across varied terrain without inter-row shading.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Review geotechnical, hydrological and topographical survey reports.
- Refine constructability based on survey and technical information.
- Support RFI responses during construction.
Day-to-Day Activities
The role will involve regular work related to:
- Grading Analysis
- Slope Analysis
- Detailed Slope Analysis
- Contour Study for project sites
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical
- Experience: 5–8 Years
- Software: Strong experience in Civil 3D Software
- Thorough knowledge of Civil 3D commands or an equivalent CAD environment.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of drafting and detailing standards.
- Very good communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the Solar Industry is preferred but not compulsory.
