Terms & Conditions governing the engagement of Experts on fixed term basis
WAPCOS Limited an ‘ISO 9001:2015’ “Mini Ratna-I” Organization intends to engage Experts on fixed term basis for work relating to Project Management
Services (PMC) including construction supervision for the Water Supply Projects in Gujarat State by GWSSB, Gujarat.
The terms & conditions, requisite qualification, experience and age prescribed are as under:

Opening Positions

1. Water supply Expert

• Minimum Qualification: M.E/M.Tech (Hydraulics, Environmental Engineering/Water supply Expert)
• Minimum Experience post Qualification: 5 years of experience in planning, designing of Water Supply Projects & Water Treatment Plant.
• Locations: Gandhinagar – 1 no., Rajkot -1 no.

2. Structural Design Expert

• Minimum Qualification: M.E/M.Tech in Structure Design
• Minimum Experience post Qualification: 5 years of experience in hydraulic design structure in water supply projects.
• Location: Surat -1 no.

3. Mechanical Design Expert

• Minimum Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech (Mechanical)
• Minimum Experience post Qualification: 5 years’ experience in the planning, design of pumping machineries of water supply projects.
• Locations: Gandhinagar – 1 no., Rajkot -1 no.

4. Electrical Design Expert

• Minimum Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech (Electrical)
• Minimum Experience post Qualification: 5 years’ experience in the planning, design of water supply projects.
• Locations: Gandhinagar – 1 no., Rajkot -1 no.

5. Construction Engineer

• Minimum Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech (Civil)
• Minimum Experience post Qualification: 10 years of experience in construction supervision and planning of water supply projects quality assurance and quality control work.

6. Field Engineer / Site Engineer (Civil)

• Minimum Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech (Civil)
• Minimum Experience post Qualification: Minimum 3 years of experience in construction supervision of water supply projects.
• Locations and Number of Posts:
  • Dahod – 4 nos.
  • Lundawada – 4 nos.
  • Santrampur – 2 nos.
  • Vinchhiya – 4 nos.
  • Rajkot-1 no.
  • Bhavnagar-5 nos.
  • Nadiad- 1 no.
  • Bhiloda/ Modasa- 2 nos.
  • Mehasana – 1 no.
  • Anand- 2 nos.
  • Vayara, Tapi- 3 nos.
  • Subir, Dang- 3 nos.
  • Ahawa, Dang – 3 nos.
  • Danta, Palanpur- 2 nos.

7. Field Engineer / Site Engineer (Mechanical)

• Minimum Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)
• Minimum Experience post Qualification: Minimum 3 years of experience in construction supervision of water supply projects.
• Locations and Number of Posts:
  • Porbandar – 1 no.
  • Kutch – 1 no.
  • Dwarka -1 no.

1. Applicants from Govt. Departments/PSUs/Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channels or provide No Objection Certificate and vigilance clearance certificate during the Interview.
2. Salary is negotiable and will be determined based on qualifications and experience at the time of Interview.
3. The position is temporary and on a fixed-term basis for the duration of the Project.
4. Shortlisting of candidates will be based on Interviews.
5. No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for attending the interview.
6. Age and experience will be considered as of January 31, 2024.
7. Maximum age limit as of January 31, 2024, is 60 years.
8. Applications must be submitted in the WAPCOS format only; other formats will not be accepted.
9. Applicants must include self-certified copies of educational qualifications and experience certificates; applications without these will be rejected.
10. Relevant experience will be given appropriate consideration.
11. Management reserves the right to set criteria to limit the number of candidates called for the Personal Interview.
12. Preference will be given to SC/ST/OBC/PWBMD candidates if found suitable.
13. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWBMD candidates will be per rules.
14. Candidates will be engaged for the mentioned project but may be posted anywhere in India or abroad as per company requirements.
15. Submission of an application and meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection for a Personal Interview.
16. Project locations are throughout Gujarat, and proficiency in English, Hindi, and Gujarati languages is preferred.
