NCC Limited is hiring experienced design engineers for irrigation projects at its Head Office in Hyderabad. The role focuses on hydraulic design and review of canals, dams, and barrages.

Open Position
Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Design (Canals, Dams & Barrages)
- Experience: 6–14 Years (Irrigation Projects Mandatory)
- Qualification: B.E / B.Tech (Civil) / M.Tech (Hydraulics / Water Resources – Preferred)
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of open channel flow & hydraulic structures
- Experience with HEC-RAS, Flow-3D or similar tools
- Understanding of IS, USBR, USACE codes
- Good coordination & communication skills
- Ability to review and validate complex designs
Key Responsibilities
- Hydraulic design of canals, regulators, CD works, outlets
- Hydrological & hydraulic analysis (flow, discharge, energy, afflux)
- Design of canal alignment, lining & seepage control
- Review designs of dams, barrages & structures
- Validate drawings, reports & consultant submissions
- Coordinate with structural, geotechnical & survey teams
- Support construction with technical inputs & design changes
- Identify risks like flooding, erosion, sedimentation
- Ensure compliance with standards & timely design delivery
